Innovative Insurance is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Controller to lead our financial operations and guide our team through an upcoming agency management system conversion! In this hands-on role based in Coral Springs, FL, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting while serving as our lead financial expert during our migration from Applied TAM to Applied Epic.

Key Highlights of the Role:

• Lead Financial Operations: Oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, budgeting, monthly reporting, and financial projections.

• Drive System Migration: Serve as the primary accounting lead in migrating our financial workflows from Applied TAM to Applied Epic.

• Manage Insurance Accounting: Handle carrier reconciliations, agency and direct bill accounting, trust accounts, and producer compensation.

• Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (with 3+ in a leadership role), and direct experience in an independent insurance agency using Applied TAM. (Applied Epic experience and CPA are a plus!)
