Damaging weather becoming more frequent

During the 1980s, the United States averaged 3.3 storms per year that caused more than a billion dollars in damages (adjusted for inflation). That rate has been on a steady rise and the U.S. now sees an average of 23 of these events each year.

It’s critical to have conversations with clients about preparing for severe weather. According to a recent Nationwide survey a third of them have sustained weather damage during the last five years.
