According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, being a fleet driver is one of the most dangerous jobs in the United States.

Vehicle accidents leading to fatalities or injuries have been trending higher over the past decade. More than 68,000 drivers were injured, and 1,115 fleet drivers died in accidents in 2022 – more than 8% higher versus 2021.
