Signature Artist Announced! Congratulations Martin Karadzhov!

Announcing Martin Karadzhov as the 2024 Signature Artist. The winning entry is an oil on canvas painting entitled “Rock n′ Roll” which depicts an electric guitarist exploding from a dynamic background of abstract paint splashes. The feeling of music is expressed in the intensity of the colors and the texture of the paint. When asked about the meaning of the butterflies within the piece, Karadzhov stated, “The two colorful butterflies are symbols of the beauty and grace of the music he (the musician) created. They are flying and fluttering around him like the sound of guitar strings under his fingers and the hurricane of his romantic musical emotions.”
Joe Morera, CSFOA President said of the winning piece, “Rock n′ Roll” represents many facets of our Festival. From the music, to the art, to the overall fun of the whole weekend, Karadzhov’s entry captured what our Festival is all about.”

Born in Bulgaria, Karadzhov’s love for art began when he was given a set of paints for his 3rd birthday. His parents encouraged his gift of the arts throughout his young life and he eventually earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree from one of the oldest art schools in Europe, the National Academy of Fine Art University in Sofia, Bulgaria. Martin moved to America in 2003 and a few years later opened his art and mural company Luxury Murals LLC, located in Pompano Beach, FL.
